The behavioral question I failed

This is the question that I failed to answer during my Google PgM interview :(

  1. What do you know when something goes wrong Sunday night and you don't have access to your manager or PMO?
  • Evaluate your project type. If the project manager has the authority and this is very urgent, then you can go ahead and make decisions. If you don't have the authority, then you need to wait for your manager's or PMO's instruction.
  • Refer to the archived files or past experiences and see if there's any lessons learned for similar situations
  • Consider the smallest change just for mitigation, and then you can wait for correctives actions until you sync with cross functional teams
